Unlike many other horse games, SSO does not let you choose the gender of your player character. The story trailer and opening lore crawl speak of a prophecy according to which a girl on horseback will appear “to bring light and hope to those who believe that all is lost” and asks “Are you that girl?”. In Star Stable, you and your horse are newly arrived visitors to the island of Jorvik.
